Request a care-home discussion
Is RTCGP a fit for your home?
For care-home owners, managers and clinical leads considering additional, remote-first GP support. National availability: weekdays 6 pm–6 am and full weekend cover. Access and scope are agreed with each home before the service begins. RTCGP is not an emergency service.
From first enquiry to agreed support
1. Discuss your home’s needs
Tell Dr Kumar your role, your home’s business contact details and the support you want to discuss. An enquiry does not book a consultation or start a contract.
2. Review the proposed service
Discuss service fit, scope, access arrangements, responsibilities, fees and provider documents. Resolve your questions before making a purchasing decision.
3. Agree arrangements before use
Use the service only once the applicable provider arrangements are agreed and your team knows the approved clinical contact route.
Fees and agreement
Fees are discussed with your home as part of a tailored proposal. Review the scope, inclusions, any additional charges and contract terms before signing.
The agreement is signed by your care home’s authorised decision maker and Dr Kumar on behalf of RTCGP. Clinical care remains subject to the applicable ThanksDoc / Endura arrangements.
GP callback within 30 minutes
During contracted service hours, a GP calls your care home back within 30 minutes of a request reaching the agreed clinical contact route. This is a callback commitment, not a promise that assessment or treatment will be completed within 30 minutes.
This business-enquiry form is not the clinical contact route. For a life-threatening emergency, call 999; do not wait for a callback.
Documentation and involvement
The proposed arrangements include a written letter to the resident’s usual GP, subject to the applicable consent, confidentiality and clinical-provider arrangements. Confirm the handover process in your home’s agreement.
The level of RTCGP involvement is discussed with your home and depends on the agreed service. Your team’s approved clinical contact route is confirmed before the service starts.
Before you decide
Use your discussion and provider documentation to clarify:
Your home’s eligibility, agreed hours and service exclusions.
The clinical provider, responsibilities and authorised contact routes.
Resident consent and how staff can request support on a resident’s behalf.
Response arrangements and escalation if further care is needed.
Clinical records, communication and handover to usual services.
Fees, inclusions, any extra charges, start date, renewal and cancellation.
Privacy arrangements and the complaints process.
For residents and families
Ask your care-home team how the proposed service would fit with existing care and consent arrangements. RTCGP adds support alongside NHS services; it does not replace the resident’s usual GP. For a life-threatening emergency, call 999.
Who provides the service?
Dr Kumar, GP and founder of RTCGP, receives business enquiries. Clinical services are provided by Endura Health LTD trading as ThanksDoc, under the applicable provider arrangements.
